"main kya maangoon
kuchch thir na rahaee"
the words do not soothe.
thoughts race, jostle, whirl
into storms, no patterns that
I can discern, emotions
tumble over and elude
the comfort of familiarity.
I stand on the edge of
the precipice, breathing
in such courage I would.
the void beckons -----
an enigma I must solve
if I am to return .
